New Stadium at Lincoln: Ready for Some Football!

Lincoln University will soon celebrate the official opening of the new Football Stadium and Field at Lincoln University in time for the kick-off of the football season. The football facilities and track are part of a larger campus improvement project that is adding athletic fields and facilities, correcting parking and circulation problems, and creating a more cohesive identity for the whole campus. The new home of the Lincoln Lions gives a big boost and a sense of pride to the University's relatively new football program that was reinstated in 2008 after 48 years of no football. Kimmel Bogrette designed the Stadium, as well as a Field House and Storage Building, to mesh with the aesthetic direction of the redesigned campus.
